THE ELITE PITCHING & THROWING PROGRAM

The Elite Pitching and Throwing Program was developed to focus on the core 4 keys to being a successful baseball pitcher or overhead thrower. Each class consists of one hour of pitching/throwing followed by one hour of strength and conditioning.

#1: Mechanics - In order to create power, increase accuracy, and stay safer throughout the pitching motion it’s all about getting your body into key positions which will be our #1 focus.

#2: Power - We will be focusing on using our bodies natural tension to drastically increase velocity while reduced arm fatigue and stress.

#3: Mindset - Most inconsistencies in pitch or throwing location comes directly for a negative thought process and lack of confidence in the moment. We plan on giving our pitchers and throwers a new inner confidence and positive working process on the field.

#4: Strength - Recovery and strengthening post throwing in critical in both softball and baseball. We will be targeting movements that are specific to the sport coupled with the proper arm care and recovery needed in overhead throwers. The strength portion will be carried out by Matt Gifford’s cutting edge ESP strength staff.
